The first time I came to discover See's Candies we were new to America's California West Coast. San Francisco's Bay Area downtown San Mateo. There stood the town's finest little confectioner's shop, a little white pristine building that lay nestled between many others. A large photo of somebody's sweet looking grandmother representing the array of delicious chocolates inside showcased behind the glass, became a face of familiar comfort for the years that followed. Ever since, I've been enjoying See's delicious sweets for years. Many years later and half way around the globe, and we are joined once again. The product fails to fail, time and again, even after 58 years since I have been enjoying See's chocolates. Even my non-favorites are favorable. This is where the phrase, "It's all good" takes up appropriate space in today's casual meaning for something that genuinely understands the quality and profound integrity of utter goodness. Thank you, See's Candies, This globetrotter will soon be See-ing you in one of Panama's finest shopping malls...til then : )
